- Bitcoin lost $80,000, and buyers reacted quickly: that level is today’s critical reference point.
- Ethereum is bouncing less cleanly than Bitcoin and continues to show a relative weakness that the market is not ignoring.
- Solana and XRP continue to signal caution in altcoins: if they do not improve, the crypto rebound could fall short.

Bitcoin leads today after: updated analysis with context for investors.
Cryptocurrencies Bitcoin opens the session with the market’s full attention: it is trading at 81,870.60 dollars on CoinMarketCap and briefly fell below 80,000 before rebounding strongly during the European overnight session.
Bitcoin
Bitcoin fell below 80,000 dollars and recovered to the 82,500 area within a few hours. At mid-session in Madrid it is trading at 81,870.60 dollars, down 1.04% in 24 hours according to 81,870.60 dollars.
Analysis. The message is clear: demand keeps coming in when BTC reaches psychological support levels. That supports the market, but it is not enough on its own. If it does not recover the 84,000-dollar range with consistent closes, the rebound could remain just a technical relief move. What matters today is whether money defends 80,000 or lets it go again.
Ethereum
Ethereum is following the market rebound, but with less structural conviction. CoinMarketCap places it at 2,450.67 dollars, down 3.49% in 24 hours, while its daily close today stands at 2,449.80 dollars.
Analysis. ETH needs more than simply following Bitcoin: it needs its own strength. If BTC stabilizes, Ethereum could narrow part of the decline thanks to beta effects. The limit is obvious: as long as it keeps falling more than BTC over 24 hours, the market is saying it is taking more risk in ether than in bitcoin. That does not invalidate a rebound, but it does reduce its quality.
Solana
Solana remains among the major assets with the weakest relative tone of the day. On Investing it stands at 101.920 dollars, down 4.84% in 24 hours and 11.59% over the week.
Analysis. When a beta asset like Solana falls more than Bitcoin and Ethereum, the market is cutting back on risk appetite. That makes it a useful gauge: if SOL does not improve, it is hard to believe in a solid rotation into altcoins. Watch whether it stabilizes volume and stops widening losses versus BTC; that will be the first real sign of change.
XRP
XRP is trading at 1.3035 dollars on Investing, down 4.64% in 24 hours and 7.27% in seven days. In addition, CoinDesk notes today that it remains far from its 2018 cycle high.
Analysis. Here the risk is not only the daily drop, but also the lack of historical leadership versus Bitcoin and Ethereum. If the market rebounds and XRP does not respond, it confirms relative weakness. For the bias to change, it needs to stop being a laggard trade and attract genuine flow again, not just short-term speculative buying.
