How Mercados Pro works

From there: Institutional Radar and the Investment League, explained from the inside — what you find on each screen, how each mechanic works, and which plan makes sense for what you want.
Institutional Radar
The market analysis dashboard. Used daily: you log in, review what has changed since yesterday, and decide with that.
1.1 How it is organised
Radar opens on a single screen divided into tabs. Each tab is a standalone panel focused on one question: how healthy the market is, where real strength lies, what is changing, how much risk is on the table right now.
There is no required reading order: you can move freely between tabs; each loads its own content separately.
1.2 What panels you will find
The Dashboard groups several dozen indicators. This is the map by category: which question each group answers, not the exact formula behind each one — that part is kept private on purpose.
Overview and market health
- Market health — a general thermometer of the context.
- Breadth and sentiment — how many stocks take part in a move, not just the index.
- Dollar / S&P 500 ratio, Macro risk — the underlying macro context.
- Seasonality — what has tended to happen around these dates.
- Participation, Relevant changes, Control centre — what is moving and an executive summary of everything above.
Strength and weakness
- Strength / Weakness — a ranking of which assets perform better or worse than the whole.
- Strength + Quality — crosses that strength with fundamentals.
- Long-term momentum / Value + Momentum — underlying trends, not two-session bounces.
Technical signals and rotation
- Cross / Avilas Bands — proprietary levels and crosses on each asset.
- Relative / Support / Supertrend / DM — different technical scanners, each with its own criteria.
- Confluence — which assets appear in several scanners at once.
- Rotation, Institutional trend, Strong/weak hands — where the money is moving.
Sentiment
- Social attention — which assets concentrate conversation on X/Reddit — context data, never a buy signal on its own.
1.3 The six strength filters, one by one
The most common quick screen inside the Dashboard, before looking at anything else:

Who leads today: what is outperforming the market.
Strength + Quality
The same ranking, filtering out strength without fundamental backing.
Long-term momentum
Separates real trend from two-session noise.
Dean Malone
Filters out structural losers before looking at anything else.
Avilas Bands
Proprietary levels to see whether an asset is in a value zone or overextended.
Technical crosses
The alert that something relevant just happened in an asset you were already tracking.
1.4 How to open an asset: chart and fundamentals
In panels that display assets, click directly on the ticker. The information expands right below the asset, without taking you to another screen.
Chart
A candlestick chart of the asset opens so you can visually review the trend, highs and lows.
Fundamentals
For stocks, below the chart you will find the full fundamental profile available: activity, sector and industry, profitability, valuation, debt, earnings, EPS, dividends, buybacks, competitors and news, based on the data available for each company.
Sergio IA
At the end of the profile you will find access to “Analyse your portfolio with Sergio IA” to continue the analysis inside the portfolio tool.
Important: the assets shown in a scanner meet the requirements defined by that strategy, but that alone is not enough to open a position. You should check the asset on the chart and verify, among other things, the sequence of highs and lows.
1.5 Signal histories
Momentum LP and several technical scanners include a signal history. Where applicable, the history records the entry date and the exit date once the target or limit defined for that system is reached. Histories can be reset from the administrative control provided for that purpose.
The history lets you review the statistical evolution of closed signals without exposing the internal rules used by each strategy.
1.6 Short-Term Swing Trading
Swing Trading CP identifies assets that meet the internal technical criteria defined by the strategy and presents the candidates prioritised by their technical strength. Being on the list is a candidate filter, not an automatic buy recommendation.
1.7 Intraday Trading
Intraday Trading strategies are presented as expandable sections: when you open a strategy, its results appear right below. When a table contains compatible tickers, you can also open the chart and, for stocks, their fundamentals from the asset itself.
1.8 Risk management
Interactive calculator included with Monthly and Annual Institutional Radar and every Intraday Trading plan. Use it to size and review a trade before sending it to the market.
1. Enter the trade
Select Buy or Sell and enter capital, entry, stop price, stop points used for risk, point value, contracts and target points.
2. Review the figures
The dashboard calculates monetary risk and risk as a percentage of capital, notional value, potential profit, target price and the reward/risk ratio.
3. Check the stop
If the distance between the entry and stop prices does not match the points used to calculate risk, a warning appears. Correct one of the two values before continuing.
Main formula: monetary risk = stop points × point value × number of contracts. The risk percentage compares that amount with the stated capital.
Calculations update in the browser as you edit. The tool does not save trades or retrieve market quotes.
Check the instrument’s actual multiplier, point value, fees and slippage before trading.
1.9 When the data is updated
Most of the Dashboard updates once a day, after the US market close. You do not need to refresh anything manually: when you log in, you already have data from the last closed session.
1.10 Live consultation
Live sessions exclusive to subscribers, with an archive browsable by year, month and day. Each session is recorded on video together with comments from other subscribers.

Investment League
The monthly simulated-portfolio competition. It is not an analysis tool: it is a place to test your process against other investors.
2.1 The monthly mechanic
Each month is an independent edition, with its own portfolio from scratch. During the first 5 days of the month you can build or edit your portfolio; after that deadline, it is locked until the next edition.
2.2 How a portfolio is built
Simulated capital
Starting point for each portfolio, the same for every participant.
Exact positions
Not one fewer or one more — all different, with no repeated asset.
Weight per position
No position can be token or dominate the entire portfolio.
2.3 How an edition is played
While registration is still open, other participants’ portfolios stay hidden — nobody can copy anyone. As soon as registration closes, they are all revealed at once and the ranking updates every day, after the US market close, for the rest of the month.
2.4 Prizes
A minimum of 20 participants is required for an edition to run. If that is not reached, that edition pays nothing: your place automatically rolls to the following month, and what has accumulated is added to that next edition’s pot.
It's not your entry fee that gets shared out: the Sergio Ávila Bolsa community guarantees a minimum prize from the very first participant, and that minimum grows with each new person who joins.
The top 25% ranked in each edition receive a prize — not half the field — in decreasing proportion, with cash prizes and annual Institutional Radar subscriptions. For example, with the minimum of 20 participants there are 5 winners:

Complete fundamental thesis for a company: valuation, risks, catalysts and counter-thesis. Any subscriber can type the ticker of any listed company. If you also have Institutional Radar active, you can also choose a stock from the search box and dropdown with the Radar's full universe — that search box is not shown to those without Radar, so as not to give access to the Radar universe by buying only the Thesis.
My portfolio with Sergio IA Monthly Radar (7/month) · Annual Radar (10/month)

4.3 Extra credits: they accumulate, they aren't lost from one month to the next
Once the monthly quota is used up, you can buy a package of extra credits for €9.99/month (tax included). Unlike the normal monthly quota, which resets every month whether it's used or not, any extra credits you don't spend accumulate from one month to the next for up to 6 months from purchase.
The extra credits package can only be bought if you already have that same tool active in one of its 3 modalities: the number of credits it includes depends on which of the 3 you have active (more credits the higher the tier: Annual Radar > Monthly Radar = No Radar).
Important: if you cancel or no longer have any of a tool's 3 paid modalities active, that tool's accumulated extra credits are lost — they are only kept while you remain a subscriber of one of the 3.
4.4 Where to see your available credits
Inside each tool, at the top, you will always see how many analyses you have left this month and, if you have accumulated extra credits, how many. As soon as the quota runs out, direct access to buy more credits appears right there.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a lock-in?
The Monthly plan (Radar or League) renews month by month and you can cancel renewal from My Account whenever you want. Annual covers a full year already paid; you can turn off automatic renewal at any time. Annual Radar instalments are 4 quarterly payments that must be completed.
Can I switch from monthly to annual?
Yes, at any time from your account.
Is this financial advice?
No. Institutional Radar and the Investment League provide information and analysis tools. Investment decisions are yours alone and under your responsibility.
Do I need prior experience?
It is not essential, although you will get more from it the better you know the market. The exposure and strength panels are useful from day one.
What if it is not for me?
Cancel renewal from My Account whenever you want and you keep access until the end of the period already paid.
Do you guarantee returns?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. Investing in financial markets carries the risk of loss.
